Visiting Polly & LA-LA Land

After the Hot Springs, Avi and I headed further South to L.A. and visited Polly (Avi's godmother/madrina).  We got to do a lot of things we normally don't do.  Us girls had a fun time!

In front of (a segment of) the Berlin Wall.

At La Brea Tar Pits Museum.  A little over Avi's head at this point in her life...

Polly and Avi in front of the LA Musuem of Modern Art.  There was a really cool outdoor art exhibit: all these grey old-fashion street lights.  They made a great backdrop!

The morning we left, we took Polly to work.  It was only 8 miles from her house, but it took 80 minutes to get there.  Needless to say, Avi was in the car a lot that day, since we still had a 3.5 hour drive home.  So, we stopped in Solvang at the world famous Ostrich Land as a break!
