River Rats

We spent a week on the Sacramento River in August this year.  We camped next to Peggy Paul (Mimi Boppy) and others came to visit, including Kelly, Brant, Aryn, Finn, the Chamber and the Adlandts.  Fun times on the water, good food, good drink and great weather.  What more could you ask for?!

Peggy showed off a new creation as she prepared dinner for us all the first night.   Isn't having a mother the best?!  This type of camping I could get used to!

Avi always wore her lifejacket in the boat, on the docks and on the beach. She was very comfortable in it.  What a good girl!

We had to bathe her every night to get all the sunscreen and river water off of her.  Sometimes she liked it, sometimes she didn't....

This is how Avi cruised the campground most of the time.

Mimi, Mommy and Avi doing excercises together.

Avi is getting really good at yoga poses.  We say "downward dog" and she knows exactly what to do.

Baby Finn about 2 months old.

Avi helped "burp" Finn and feed him.  She really loves little Finn.

Helping daddy unload the boat at the end of the day.

This is what a bunch of river rats look like after several days of water side living.
